Třebihošť sits between the Krkonoše mountains, Bohemian Paradise and the Adršpach rocks. From one base you reach three different landscapes, and you are back at the hot tub by evening. The ideas below are sorted by how much time they take.
Kuks, Josefov or the tunnels under the fortress. And the glazed terrace, where you are outdoors but dry.
Zvičina hill on foot straight from the door, then the Prachov rocks or a ridge walk in the mountains.
Safari Park at Dvůr Králové for a full day, the Les Království dam for a shorter walk.
A morning or an afternoon, easily fitted between two coffees
The nearest hill and the best view around. At the top stand the Rais chalet and the church of St John of Nepomuk. On a clear day you can see the whole mountain ridge. You can walk up straight from the house.

Birthplace of the poet Karel Jaromír Erben and home of the local wafer biscuits, still baked here today. A quiet square, a museum and a bakery selling them fresh.

A stone dam from the early twentieth century that looks more like a castle than a waterworks. A pleasant forest walk follows the Labe river around it.

A ruin with a surviving renaissance palace. Smaller, quieter and far less crowded than the famous castles, with a fine view over the region.

Špindlerův Mlýn, Pec pod Sněžkou and ridge walks. Ski slopes in winter, Sněžka peak or the Labe gorge in summer. Leave after breakfast, back for dinner.

The largest rock town in central Europe. Gorges, a small lake crossed by punt and towers tens of metres high. In high season book your entry in advance.
The mountain foothills with the valley made famous by the writer Božena Němcová. The Úpa valley is among the loveliest walks in the region.
