Why guests come back for the water
The hot tub is by far the thing guests mention most in their reviews. Not because it is the biggest or the newest, but because it is genuinely yours. No booking slots, no sharing with other rooms and nobody looking over the fence.
It sits outside on the terrace beside the house, so you look out over the fields and the ridge of Zvičina. In the evening the sky opens above it, undisturbed by city light. Most guests get back in before breakfast.
The water holds its temperature all year. You set it by voice through the tablet indoors, along with the jets and the lighting.
The tub through the seasons
Winter
The best of it. You step out into the frost, lower yourself into warm water, and above you is a sky with no city glow. Snow on the meadows does the rest.
Spring and autumn
Cold mornings and warm afternoons. The water stays the same either way. In autumn the forest above Zvičina turns colour as a bonus.
Summer
By day you get in for the quiet rather than the warmth. Wait for dusk, when it cools down and the stars come out over the field.

Sound belongs in the water. And on a clear night something comes with it that you will not get elsewhere.
Ask for relaxing music and it plays, without you having to climb out of the water. Volume and track change the same way, you simply say what you want.

The dark here is not the dark you know from a city. On a good night you can see the Milky Way with the naked eye.
Good to know
Nothing complicated. But so you know what to expect before you arrive.
- The water is kept clean continuously, there is nothing for you to manage or call about.
- Temperature and jets are voice controlled through the tablet indoors, just say what you want.
- Bath sheets are included. Bring swimwear if you like, though nobody can see you here.
- The tub stands on the terrace away from the road, with the garden between you and everything else.
- In strong wind it is better left off, as churning water cools down fast.
