A small house with a big soul
Come and unwind from the rush in a cottage in the heart of the Czech foothills. It stands alone in a large garden, looking out over meadows, forests and the ridge of Zvičina.
The glazed terrace lets you enjoy the surrounding countryside from indoors, over morning coffee or a slow dinner. And once it gets dark, the outdoor hot tub is waiting under open sky.
Inside you will find a fully equipped kitchen, hot water, air conditioning and a wood stove. Outside a grill, a fire pit and raised beds where you can pick fresh fruit and vegetables in season. Everything you need and nothing more.

How many people is the house for?
The house is built for two guests. There is a double bed in the bedroom and a sofa in the living room. It is a place for couples and for anyone who wants to be alone for a while.
Does the hot tub run in winter too?
Yes. The tub runs all year and is yours around the clock for the whole stay. Soaking in the frost under the stars is one of the strongest experiences here.
How does check-in work?
Check-in is self-service. Before your stay we send you the code to a lockbox holding the keys, so you can arrive whenever suits you, even late in the evening.
Who is Venca?
Venca is the voice assistant of the smart home, waiting on a tablet inside. It runs the lights, air conditioning, music and hot tub, and suggests places to visit. You speak to it in plain language and there is nothing to study.
What about parking and the access road?
You park right on the property for free. The last stretch of the access road is a field track. After long rain or in snow please drive carefully, an ordinary car will manage it.
Can we bring a dog?
Yes, for a fee. Tick the pet box when booking; the fee is added to the price and paid together with the stay. The plot is fully fenced.
Where can we buy groceries?
The nearest shops and restaurants are in Dvůr Králové nad Labem, about ten minutes by car. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, so cooking is easy.
What is the Secret of Zvičina package?
An optional paid package built around an interactive escape game in the countryside around the house. Besides the game it includes a few more things, which we reveal once you have booked, together with the details and how to order.
What is included in the price?
